Understanding Instructional Communication towards Elementary School Students in English Classroom

English teachers and students face difficulties grasping the meaning, leading to misunderstanding. This study aims analyses use of conversational implicature focusing on instructional communication in an classroom. The research used qualitative methodology descriptive analysis as design. instrument consisted observations documentation. data video recording during classroom process. participants this involved teacher grade 5 at Islamic private elementary school. interactive model consisting collection, reduction, conclusion verification. indicated that four maxims communication, with 18 utterances. maxim quantity 3 relation manner 4 most dominant was quality 6 It showed interaction between needs provide factual accurate information.
